WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES
Hey RA classmates...
Today marks an anniversary of sorts for me...it was a year ago at about this time I decided to make a change for the healthier. I was 255lbs and terribly out of shape. I was on a ton of meds...and barely able to make it up the stairs without panting like a tired old dog. I made the commitment to get myself in better shape and through a program of diet and exercize...I sit here today at 152lbs and a serious gymrat.(Been able to work myself off of all the prescription meds...doc gave me a clean bill of health.) I got hooked onto RA through one of our professors (Danny Stevens) who has set me on the path to build back muscle where there was once nothing but flab. I will occasionally throw out some questions to you guys, and hopefully you can help guide me along. (Give me training advice.) Some of my questions might seem a bit remedial...but I am trying to learn more day by day. (So bear with me ...ok?) I am admittedly a novice to all of this....up to a year ago, weight lifting was getting myself off of the couch :) hahaha
Thanks to all of you who answered my question before about "ab routine...care to share". I'll take those suggestions and use them in my routine. I've already started to implement some of Sean Royers suggestions. THANKS! Anyway, I now enter year number two of a fitter/stronger me. What a difference a year makes.....
