WILLYP'S BLOG ENTRY

YO

Hey i just wanted to introduce myself. I'm David and I'm a infantry soldier assigned to the old guard in northern Virginia. My primary job is to carry the bodies of fallen soldiers. That is what got me into weight training. I've only been lifting steadily for about 2 years now.

Welcome to the RA family David, and I also want to thank you for serving our country. It's not an easy job, and it's not always acknowledged as it should be.

I used to be on Honor Guard at my last base. I would always get a nervous rush whenever I would take part in the ceremonies... especially when it came time to folding that 1-3-5 in honor of their dedicated service. I work at the CASF now in Ramstein where the wounded fly in. Every now and then we get HR... I get chills whenever I see our flag draped, but I know better than to let my bearing go... Thanks for all you do! You are better than I am for doing that as a full time duty. Take care!
