TIM RICE'S BLOG ENTRY
GETTING BACK IN THE GROOVE
I had my cortisone shot last Friday and my shoulder still is a bit sore, but my chest workout went fairly good yesterday. I was not able to lift very heavy, but my muscle endurance seems up as I hit my all time best of 30 reps at 225 lbs on the bench. Crazy.
My diet is still pretty tight and my weight is once again back to around 215-220, bouncing back from the flu a couple weeks back where I went down to around 200 lbs. 2 things that have helped me quite a bit in my transistion back are ABB's Extreme Body 50 RTD's and my pre and postworkout mixture of 100% Whey and Glycomaize. I am going through like 10 lbs of the 100% per month right now and around 35-40 Extreme Body 50's. The Extreme Body 50s are awesome for when I am on the run and supply me with 50 grams of protein in a great tasting mixture. Typically I will throw some nuts in as well, such as almonds, and maybe a cold sweet potato I eat right out of the wrapper like a candy bar (I know a bit militant LOL).
My hamstring and elbows are feeling much better as well and I have found that the Glucosamine +CSA has helped quite a bit since I began taking it.
I need to sit down and begin thinking what I want to do for competing next season soon as well. I want to compete, but some things are holding me back at the moment. But once I do make up my mind I guarantee you I will go after it 110%.

Great to hear that you are feeling better and the family has recovered from the flu. Stay on course and keep us updated. By the way are you the one that caused the ABB Extreme Body 50 RTD shortage? (J/K buddy).
