IM BACK

OK, I know its been since June since everyone has last heard from me. After taking that desk job with the engineering firm I was always tired. My workouts suffered, I stopped doing cardio, I was starting to not eat as healthy as I should have. Then I was always stressed. Remember I am certified as an ISSA personal trainer and the gym that I gave 6 years of my life too decide to not except ISSA, I still do not why. I was mad, so I jumped at the receptionist job. It helped that it had good health insurance, (finally my husband got his teeth fixed). But if you ever work around engineers, they are always running around, deadlines come and gone and their stress becomes yours. I did enjoy the people there but not the stress. Plus my job ended up being more than just a receptionist job, way more. I started not like going to work. Then there was a "misunderstanding" with a person right above me. Which ended up leaving a knot in my stomach almost everyday. I ended up losing over 10 lbs in one week. My doctor said it was not worth it. In the mean time another gym came open in our town, which is hard since the gym I use to work for has a monopoly on work out places. But low and behold this tiny gym is taking hold and getting customers. My husband help the owner with how he would set up a gym and just answered different questions this young man (the owner of new gym) had. Well he asked my husband if he would like to be a trainer at his gym, not his boss but were my husband could run his own training business. Of course my husband said yes and told him about me. I check the gym out and liked it. I figured I could do part time training. But I could only give a little time with my other full time job. The owner of the gym said women want to hire me but I just didn't have the free time to do it. Well after the gym held its open house and more women came in, me and my husband decided to finally do what we originally wanted to do, start our own training business as husband and wife. Today was my last day at the engineering firm. I have been training some women now for a month and I just get so excited everytime I help another woman. And now it time for me to get myself back on track. I feel so much better. This is were I belong. So you will be hearing from me again. I finally have some of my time back. Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy and fit, physically and mentally. Looking forward to hearing from you all and reading your blogs. Take care and God Bless Joelle
