DAY 4 OF CARB DEPLETION
OK I am so tired and have no energy. Doing my treadmill my legs feel like rubber. I am on day 4 of a 6 day carb depletion. I will get through it but I do feel so tired and grumpy. I'm trying my best not to get snappy with others. One thing that happened was my back started bugging me again really bad last week. Since I was doing so much cardio I got blisters on my feet and had to switch to the recumbent bike. Well dumb me, I was trying to get most of my cardio done in the morning, a hour and a half to be exact. This in turn put pressure on my low back, which aggravated the old back injury. So I have been to my chiropractor everyday. I was not suppose to finish my gym job until April 1st but doing the towels and everything else was aggravating the back. So last Thursday March 27th was my last day of work there. It has helped my back not working but I still get some pain with certain movements. We leave this coming Thursday for Anchorage, its an 7 hour drive. I will be making plenty of stops to stretch my back out. I just pray that it won't bug me the day of competition. My chiropractor told me that I need to give my body a break after this competition. So that is my plan. Plus I start my new job which will have me very busy. But at least I get off early enough now that I can take my granddaughter out for ice cream (looking forward to that one)! I keep all of you up to date on what goes on. Everyone take care and God Bless and Stay Healthy and Fit. Joelle

Best wishes with your upcoming event, you will make it through this. Ask your doc if he has a portable TENS unit that you could take for the car ride. This may help with the old injury flare-up.
