18 DEGREE WORKOUTS ARE TOUGH
Working out in the garage isn't always a good thing. This morning it was 18 degrees! Add to that being tired with no enthusiasm and it's really tough to start a workout. In fact, I almost didn't do it. I went down to the basement and worked in my home office for a half hour before I worked up enough drive to go out there. I did manage it though, and I actually managed to push a few extra reps for most of my sets. In fact, I told my wife this evening that I came "that close" to getting sick near the end. I'm glad I didn't cross that line though, because when I do it takes me quite a while to recover. Hope you all are having a good week!

Superchick here, I do know about the cold. Living in Alaska, its cold. But thank god I work out in a heated gym. But getting there is cold, ha ha. Glad to hear you stuck it out and did your work out. You always feel better after you get a workout you were thinking of skipping done. Here is suppose to get to -20 by next week. All the more reason to work out in the gym. About competing what I did was watch a few local shows. Then I talked to some the trainers at our gym and they told me how to get started in the NPC. I watched local shows for 3 years before training for one. But I do not regret it. Let us know if you do on and keep on training. And stay warm. Joelle
