STARKE'S BLOG ENTRY

People always do a double take when I tell them what time I wake up in the morning. It's before 5 in the morning as I'm writing this, and I'm getting ready to hit the gym. It opens at 5:30, and though that might seem early to you, I've found for me, it really is the only time to go.
I don't do well in crowds, and the thought of waiting for a machine just doesn't appeal. During my time at the gym I want to be focused on my goals, not chit-chatting (well, maybe if she's cute ;). I'm a very solitary person, and with my music going I can easily get in a good hour-long lifting session, and it feels like it flies by in minutes. Add in 20-30 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes in the sauna, and I still make it to work before 8.
Gotta run. More on my odd habits later.
