BITTER SWEET ENDING

The last time I post, I was on my way to the indoor championships. Now the championships are over and I am focused on the outdoor season.

My indoor season is a bitter sweet ending, bitter because I wanted to end on a good note correction a high note, sweet because it’s the best indoor running season that I’ve had in my life. Bitter because, I have never worked so hard in my life to achieve a goal and go to a track meet and not rise to the occasion. The reason being; I did not set a goal for the championships.
The life lesson that I learned is that anything you do in life you have to set goals. In some cases you have one shot one opportunity to catch everything that you have worked so hard for and within minutes or hours the opportunity is gone. You have to stay ready, so you don't have to get ready. You have to set a HIGH GOALS followed by smaller goals leading to the bigger goals. That was my problem. I set A goal to make the standard time for the US Championships, I did not think about what was going to happen once I made the championships! Major problem!! The good thing is the bigger picture for me is the outdoor season (400 meter hurdles). This year is also an Olympic year, and I still have life left on the track, the 400 meter hurdles is my bread and butter.

Now the rest is history or should
I say "Get er Done, Ya'll"

P.S. both of my room mates are headed to the world championships to compete. One of my roommates won the 60 meter dash at the USA Championships, and my other roommate will go to Spain and compete in the 60 meter hurdles. They both will do great, everybody be on the look out because we are takin over one city at a time.

hey girly, I know you are working hard to accomplish all of your goals for the outdoor season. But you said it best. You have to set many goals through out the year. What is your goal for this year as far as your time? What happens after you make the final at Olympic Trials? After you make the team do you want to bring a medal? I know you will set your goals accordingly. Love ya much keep up the good work.
