400 METER DASH THIS WEEKEND 532
Last weekend I had a try at qualifying in the 800meters for the USA indoor championships. My specialty is the 400 meter hurdles. The 800 is to get me strong for the 400 meter hurdles. I've ran the 800 twice in my career before this year. Not knowing how well I would do I end up running 2:09:51, I almost wish this was my focus for the indoor season. My focus was to qualify for the 400 meter dash. 2:09 is a good time but not good enough to make the USA Indoor championships and last week in New York was the last time I could run the 800. I will say that if I had another try at the 800 I would drop my time by three more seconds. I feel that confident and that strong in my running.
This weekend I will run the 400 meter dash and qualify for the USA Indoor championships at a relative small track meet but a lot of competition. (Say a prey for me, that I win the whole championships).
Back to the 800, preparing for the 800 meters in practice is a lot of repetition and at times can be difficult to finish the workouts, so I turned to Nitric Boost on my hard days and I also wake up every morning and I put a heaping scoop of Glutamine Powder, and also a scoop of Vassive-EA8 in my bottle water, and sip on it through out my practice. I feel a big difference in my work out. It's much harder to get though if I do not take the supplements.
This is my first entry and from here I will give you a week to week notice on my quest to the Olympics
