SHOW SUCCESS
I wanted to hold a local show and when I decided to hold the state championship instead it came very fast. As I bragged before I had George Farah guest pose and oh my goodness, was he awesome!! The audience went crazy over him and the competitors all want to grow up just like him, lol. George is turely amazing. Also my entire staff was amazing. My lights and sound man did a wonderful job. He even came up with ideas to make the show more fun, we had an introduction that included all the competitors that was truely creative. He designed a grand entrance for George that had the crowd begging for him. We had a boxer that boxed to the Eye of the Tiger when the bikini girls came out. It was a blast.
My emcee had never been to a body building show and he did a great job. I had given him some videos to watch and he became so motivated that he said he was going to get more serious with his workouts. The lady that sang the National Anthem raised the roof. My curtain man was right where he needed to be at all times, working hard back stage making sure everything ran smooth. I had a great panel of judges. Wonderful friends that worked the ticket booth and as urshers. Great back stage help, helping competitors prepare. The men that set up the stage were awesome and had everything ready to go in time for the show.
The newspaper showed up and an article hit the newspaper the very next morning. I did not have time to talk to them so the staff and competitors did the talking.
We had door prizes for the audience and tossed out tee-shirts. I also had the biggest looser winner from a local contest in the audience and he said a few motivating words and even brought his big boy pants to show the audience. The clean up crew did such a great job that I will get my security deposit back, yeah! I had everything covered in plastic and designated spray areas. My show came so fast that I was up two nights straight before the show finishing everything to have it ready in time. I lived off of Steel Bars for two days as I did not have time to cook and they were handy. Now the paper work is all done, the bills are paid and I went in and got a massage today. I would like to thank all the competitors, my sponsors, all my helpers/staff, George, family, freinds and the community for making my show wonderful. I could not have done without all of you.
