SHAGGY68'S BLOG ENTRY

SIX WEEKS DOWN

I can't believe six weeks have gone by, and gone by so quickly!

Before getting into my usual rant , I would like to thank RA for choosing my blog as the second place winner last month and for the great prizes I received last week. Lots of great samples from ON and ABB, but the best prize in the box was an RA T-Shirt! There is little better then being recognized in any way by your peers, and again I thank all of you for that.

Most of you have already achieved a level of fitness and body type that I will probably never get to know. My goals are to become a little better physically, and the support from RA, along with some good old fashioned hard work are the tools I am using to improve myself. I have a long way to go, but after only six weeks I have increased my strength dramatically and my overall attitude about exercise and better nutrition has completely changed. I see some minor changes in my body and that alone is enough to make each trip to the gym a welcomed part of my day. So, to the other beginners, stick with it, read the material here, get involved with questions/comments, aspire to be the best you can be and of course eat, train and supplement diligently. To the advanced and knowledgeable I once again thank you for sharing your experience, your knowledge and your advice for the better of this sport for all of us. To those preparing for competition, your are the mentors here and though it is unlikely I will be attending your shows, I will be rooting for you and anxiously awaiting the results. Good luck!

A strange thing about this lifestyle, for me, is that it is helping me become a little more level headed in my everyday life. I am learning to be less concerned with the "little" things and a bit more tolerant in general. More on that later.....

The project cars are coming along too. More on that next time as well.

Have a great week everybody!

Bruce,

You're doing it bro! Keep up the great work. I'm proud of you. It takes a lot of courage to start something that you're unfamiliar or uncomfortable with. You're journey is just beginning ;)
