THE NEW WORKOUT FEEDBACK FROM WEEK 1

Just like any new thing we try, the result is usually muscle soreness and fatigue. This is in effect just what I was looking for. Using different exercises in a new order is always a welcome change. I am applying the same principals to the workout in regards to speed, and decreased rest time. the rest time is held between 25-30 sec. Six sets per exercise this does become very tiring. I had some great soreness, in the chest, biceps, triceps, and quads this week. Plenty of fatigue and due to the Olympics being on late, my rest schedule was a little off. I was able to get more rest over the weekend and look forward to the new challenges this week has to offer.
This will be a short week for me on RA, as the Labor Day weekend arrives, the family will be taking a much needed vacation to the north woods of Wisconsin. I will be away from Wednesday afternoon and return the following Tuesday. Luckily the local YMCA has a good facility and the workouts will continue. So to everyone have a great week and a safe weekend.

Jenifer,

Looking at May 2009, this will give me time to really build on my "need to improve" areas.

Feeling the soreness and fatigue is great until your trying to do that early am cardio! I also have switched up my workouts, reduced rest time and increased reps, at this point just trying to maintain muscle and burn that fat! Have a great trip and hope to see you at Jakked sometime soon.

Feeling soreness becomes refreshing. Especially during your new routine.
