SEAN ROYER'S BLOG ENTRY
MODIFICATIONS COMPLETE ENTER WEEK 4
Last week I had to "listen to my body" and change some of the volume in my workout. With these changes I was able to power through my sets and recover much faster. The added Glutamine, and 2:1:1 Recovery really helped out. I did have muscle soreness, but not that fatigue that is unbearable. To offset some of the soreness I also did the hot/cold in the shower on the muscle group that was worked for the day. This is done to bring blood to and away from the trained area to flush the muscle toxins. It also helps to cool down after training and cardio.
My weight is climbing, and the added Omegas and protein are helping me do this. I weighed in at 205.5 this morning, and I'm not really looking to add just yet. I wanted to start in about three weeks and put together two separate eight week blocks for a mass build. However, if the weight is coming on now, and it is quality size then I'll take it.
I continue to do cardio 7 days per week, and that helps me to hold good conditioning and vascularity. We will see as the pounds start to add up, until next week....
