Nationals Here I come 7 Weeks to go

Seven Weeks to Go!!! I am so excited. My training has been extremely fun and very different. I am working with a Speed and Agility Coach 1-2 times a week. Let me tell you, its tough. I ran track in high school and this type of training is bringing back memories. In the Gym, I am lifting heavy (but being careful). Would hate to hurt myself. I still have back pain from my herniated disk but I can deal with it.

You Can Transform and Even Compete

I get alot of emails and questions from women, asking about how to get lean and toned and many ask about competing. I want all of you to know that ANYONE can transform and even take it to the next level and compete. Honestly, all it takes is commitment, determination and discipline. If you want it bad enough... you can have it!

Back at it

I took the whole week off of training. I recommend that everyone take a week off of training (even if it drives you nuts!), every 4-6 months. It allows your body to have a full week of rest and gives your mind some relaxation and the opportunity to feel a bit rejuventated, once that week is up. It always works wonders for me and I am so READY to get back in the gym and on the diet 100%!

Plans for the Rest of the Year

It seems things are always changing due to unexpected circumstances. I had originally planned on competing at the NPC Atlantic States, but due to the threat of Hurricane Ike (which we were spared from), as well as my roomate canceling, my gut told me to sit it out and concentrate on Nationals.
