I thought this was interesting as I'm a big fan of sunscreen and protecting my skin. I stay out of the tanner and always wear sunscreen when I'll be out for long periods of time. Probably the reason I'm so pale without a spray tan :-) The posting below is taken from the Environmental Working Group.

EWG's investigation of 469 beach and sport sunscreens finds that 3 out of 5 contain chemicals that may pose health hazards or don't adequately protect skin from the sun's damaging rays. Some of the worst offenders are leading brands like Coppertone, Banana Boat, and Neutrogena."
