Ever since I first saw this add, I have thought this is what I want to look like initially. Do you think based on my size and how far I have come coule I end up here?





I know I have so far to go, but do you think I have the underlying build for this?

That my friend is Joe Lyons....he is on here almost daily, I'm sure he will be thrilled that people really do look up to him in so many different ways! Keep up the hard work and dedication! If you want anything bad enuff you can do it!

Yeah man. Ever since I saw that ad in M&F I always stop and look at it.

Thats what I consider to be a great build. Not overly done, just built right.

Thats what I am striving for.

You could do it man!! Just train hard and set your mind to it! Quite a person to strive for! I'm sure Joe and others will be more than happy to help throughout the journey

I think Joe has that attainable look that many people can relate to and try to emulate.

Are you saying that ANYONE can look like Joe?

I'm not trying to personalize this, but I look at myself, my conditions and know what I'm up against. I have a hard time believing I could ever obtain a "Joe" body...no matter how much I diet and train.

cant say much except keep working hard and you can achieve whatever you want!! yes genetics ect. have some limits but keep reaching for that goal, you will get there. and yea if i was a male i DEFINETLY would want to look like joe too hahaha!

No but you could have a bogey body....It all goes into how bad you really want it bogey. If you want it bad enuff, you could get ur body in the single digit numbers as far as body fat goes...You have to find what works best for you. There are 50 different ways you could prolly get there too...lots of cardio, no cardio, medium carbs, no carbs, thermo's, high healthy fats, blah blah blah...If it was that easy we would all be there. Thats what I love about this lifestyle the most..find'n what works for me and what doesn't..it makes it interesting. I don't want a Joe body, or a vic body, etc...I want a LEAN, MEAN, SHRED'D, healthy Jeremy body...and I will get it where I want to get it to be, no if's and's or but's about it..Will I ever be 100% satisified? Probably not, but thats the whole fun about it in my mind.....keep strive'n for bigger and better things..why not? life is pretty damn short.

I think having a "goal body" or inspiration is key to attaining YOUR best bod. In the end...you probably won't have his physique exactly.....but if you work hard and take his advice you'll be looking awesome no matter what!

I guess maybe I came off a little wrong in what I was saying.

When I saw the ON ad in question that had Joe in it, I thought thats a good looking physique. I wouldn't mind having a body built like that.

Will I ever look exactly like that. No....Like Kor said...I want a lean, mean, shredded, Marty body.

I know I will get there. Right now I am focused on getting the fat off, and then really building my body up. In the meantime that is not to say I do not lift. I do. I love lifting. It has become my life. Or at least an extremely integral part of it.

Marty, best of luck on your mission to get that physique! While very few people will ever obtain Joe's level, it is possible for us to reach our personal best! Joe is the man to help you out, take the time to learn from him, he is a great friend and resource!

We are actually setting something up as far as diet and training. We will see how it shall go :)

New Gym = New results!!
I swear the change of scenery, and being the new guy in the gym can totally boost your performance and results in the gym.

I am currently at 225lbs 23% BF.

OK, took me a while to find this thread but I found it!!

Thought I would post some update pics. Dont know if much has changed. I think in the side shot I wasnt standing up as straight.
