I am a hockey player. During my off season I put on a lot of muscle mass that I want to add to. So far this season I have already lost 5 pounds. Should I just up my calorie intake or what? On top of a gainer, whey, casein, and glutamine I am taking CLA

try adding carbs..for example grinding oats and adding it to your protein shakes..worked for me.

Dave i play professional Inline hockey and i know what your saying during the course of a season i loose between 10-15 lbs i try to off set it by (like joseph said) taking in more carbs the afternoon before games and practices i also reduce the cardio to almost nothing during the week ....a 20 min morning walk 3 times a week maybe...we practice 2-3 times a week and at least a game a week. i stick to clean carbs sweet potatoes, whole wheat pastas(and some white) oatmeal stuff like that. i also increase my protiene intake .5 - 1 gram more per body lb than the normal
