Which pro competitors physique do you admire most and why? (bodybuilding or figure)
Even though Flex Wheeler doesn't compete anymore his full muscle bellies and insane shape and sweep probably tops my list but as far as current pros go??? Hmmm what do you think?
FAVORITE PRO PHYSIQUE AND WHY
I agree with you Tobias, Flex Wheeler definitely had one of the most symmetrical round physiques that hasn't been seen these days. I'm a fan of Eduardo Correa who got 3rd at the 202 Showdown this year, not only cause he is Brazilian :P but because I think his proportions and size is ideal. Another 202 Olympian I followed and still follow is Stan McQuay whom unfortunately didn't make top 5 this year at the 202 Showdown but still looked great IMO. Finally above the 202 I think Ronny Rockel from Germany also has a great physique and I am sure we'll be hearing more of him in the future.

To be honest I don't follow BB closely but I thnk Phil Heath has amazing symetry and shape and looks somewhat realistic. Most guys look like overgrown comic books. I don't like jay cutlers physiuqe. And when i saw him in person it kinda made me sick

Philly Boy Wonder (my idol), Brandon Curry (whenever he decides to unmask himself) are my #1s. Ben we are one in the same again cause the overgrown dudes i cant stand and would never compete if I had to look like that. Streamline quality is what I look for and these two definitely have quality mass but still keep their symmetry. Ive followed Stan McQuay since I was about 12 in M&F. He always looks good but I dont see him having a bodybuilder physique. I think he looks best in a fitness model mold.
Luric good call I was going to mention Brandon as well. He came from being a star college football athlete which I thinnk helped him to develope such a nice natural looking package. I can't wait to see what he's up to lately

Yeah totally forgot Brandon, he definitely looks great. True Stan McQuay has always fallen into the fitness model mold but nevertheless still has a great physique IMO. Might not be a competitive physique on the other hand.

As for figure ladies, I love Gina Aliotti. I think she should have placed a bit better at the "O", but all in all, she's my favorite. Her symmetry is great, and she manages to stay feminine even though she's "jacked". Hope to see her take the Figure O soon.

I agree, Gina Aliotti has a fantastic, physique. She looks so naturally athletic. Mary Lado is also one of my favorites.

I was always a fan of Serge Nubret. Very streamlined but full, and was also stronger than he looked (if that's possible).
Of current pros, I'd say Dennis Wolf because of the small waist (so long as he keeps it in check) and conditioning, sans the '09 Olympia.

Okay, so I know this gal isn't a pro (YET)...but have any of you heard of Hayley Mcneff? She's only 21, completely natural, and her physique is unbelievable! I've watched a few vids of her, and her passion is unbelievable too.

Mark Alvisi. I've always been a fan of his physique. Very symmetrical and a nice guy as well. I'm also a big Branch Warren fan. The guy is just full of muscle and when you're standing next to him, it's absolutely crazy to see.

Kai Greene has a pretty sick physique too with hanging lats and crazy detail in his quads. The top picture of Melvin Anthony definately shows his great symmetry.

When taking into account both physique, as well as the person's character I feel George Farah and Branch Warren are both excellent! In addition I must throw Mike Francois in there as well...he looked amazing in his day and I consider him a close friend of mine too.

Flex definetly had a sick physique, and of course Arnold. I love alvisi's look at the moment. He hits an awesome vacum pose which reminds me of the older bodybuilders.
The worst I can be is the same as everybody else.
i have to go with brandon curry and david henry. curry just has an amazing shape to him that brings size and symmetry, and henry achieves an amazing level of conditioning, like at the 202 this year. cant wait to see curry make his debut in the IFBB

Wow thats a good one! I've always been a fan of guys like.. Frank Zane, Dexter Jackson, Melvin Anthony, Flex Wheeler, Kevin levrone, oh man this is hard lol. There are soo many, i can keep going. That's a great question!
