Does whey help heal sprained ankles faster than normal? reason im asking..althought its bruised and swollen, i can walk on it even though by the looks of it, you would think i wouldnt be able to...does whey help heal sprains faster?

RICE Rest Ice Compression Elevation.
I'd take ibuprofen for ten days. As well. As far as whey helping Probably not so much in this case although gelatin or glucosamine may be helpful.

Have to go with Bloodgroove and V Del on this one. Although whey certainly won't hurt, it won't directly help either. Stick with the standard home triage/treatment and get it checked out if it doesn't take a turn for the better soon.

If you like Jell-o (the sugar free kind, of course), have a few extra servings this week. Like B.G. said, the gelatin is good for your joints ...lots of proline and hydroxyproline.
