Just curious on your guys oppinion on diet pop may be. When I am dieting the only thing i drink is water and diet pop. I do not like crytsal light or any other sugar free powders like that. I dont really know why i enjoy them so much. It may be for the taste or it may be the caffaine. Typically i dont get much of a stimulant result from caffeniated beverages. So i think i am just craving the sweet taste. Also other things i take into account is that i dont have to step on stage, i just have to make weight for fights. Therefore i generally dont stop drinking them untill 4-5 days before a fight. Of course the sodium makes you hold water but untill now i have fought at a weigh class that was easy for me to make and i didnt have to cut my water at all.
I have heard before than you should never have an pop untill after 45 mins postworkout, the reason I do not rember however. ( maybe something having to do with protein absorbtion?)
Just wanted to hear some postives and negatives an your guys overall oppinion. ( also i reccomend Diet mountain dew or diet doctor pepper..they are both delicious):)
