MOTIVATION

So I was lifting pretty heavy at the gym last night, doing my delts/lats/biceps workout. The gym was pretty crowded for a Tuesday night, but I was dialed into my workout and not noticing anyone else, as usual. BUT, what I found myself motivated by was watching the strains and definition of my target muscle--lats and delts, then biceps--while I lifted. I had on a sleeveless white T which made that easy. So, I guess one of my prime motivators is to see that the exercises I'm doing are directly paying off right away.

I thought about it afterwards and realized that I get better workout intensity when I can see the effects of my lifting--so more and more I'm in tanks or sleeveless T's when I lift.

Does anybody else conciously choose their workout gear that way? Or am I heading in a strange direction...

I do it all the time, excpet for leg day...don't wanna scare anyone off by wearing a speed-o! lol, but seriously yeah I wear a sleeveless t all of the time..
