CHEST SHOULDERS
Workout blog for Monday, November 5 2007
Still following the X-reps body split, with Chest and Lats today.
Pre-supplements:
4 caps Cort-Bloc
2 caps Beta alanine
2 T Plasmavol in 8 oz water
Felt good for my 5pm workout, and the Plasmovol really makes me feel pumped; it's my first try with this product and so far I'm impressed with what it does--I can feel it expanding my chest and bi's especially.
I did chest today on the Smith machine; for some reason I just wanted to concentrate on moving the weight plates and not fool with all the free-weight balance I usually get on the flat bench alone.
I pressed out 3 sets on flat Smith bench, ending up at 180# for 8 reps. Then I switched to the cable cross, and did 3 sets across the front of my chest. Back to the Smith machine for 3 sets of incline benches, topping out at 140# this time.
For lats I did 3 sets on the Hammer shoulder press at 90#, and then lat raises. I could really see the definition in my shoulders (tank top helps) and the striation between the delts and the lats is really inspiring.
Finished off with floor ab crunches, chest up and knee up for 30 reps twice.
Post-workout supplement was 2 scoops of Biotest Surge in 24 oz water, with 5 g creatine (Biotest German Creatine).
