PREPPING FOR USAS
I’m 2 weeks and some odd days out from the USA’s in Vegas. It feels like the Jr. Nats were only a few days ago. The only thing proving to be a challenge is the darned dieting. I’m at the point where it’s mentally exhausting. Well, after this show, I’m done for the year. I sure some of you guys are like “two shows and you’re exhausted?” Yep, that’s right. I want to give some time to tweak my body for next year. Change doesn’t come over night. I think most of the challenge when you first start out is trying to balance your body. Conditioning is just a matter of discipline, but balance and symmetry is a matter of time.
I’ve also noticed that when you don’t eat properly or take your supps regularly, it affects you more than you realize. I had a couple days off track and my energy and mood was so wretched. You just want to hibernate; and that I did. Now I have a clean slate and my outlook is pretty positive. I just got my shipment from ON and it’s like getting a present on Christmas. It’s very motivating.
The USA’s will be very good practice. I’ll be on my own since my dietitian will not be able to come. And it’s in Vegas. How could anyone lose?

Hope you got some good flavors from ON.
Enjoy vegas and good luck.
I could not have said it better myself. I took a week off after Jr. Nats and it took a toll on me... mentally, physically and emotionally. I'm still having a hard time gaining focus but I just have to push through it. And I can totally understand being exhausted after two shows. Hell... I'm exhausted after one!
