BODYBUILDING REALITY SHOW

So, there are all these reality shows and competitions to be the best designer, hair cutter, dog groomer, etc…etc…I think they should have a show about competitors and what they go through during a prep. Wouldn’t that be funny? The dieting, drawing a blank mid sentence, arguing with your honey, the conversations of how delicious oatmeal has become, the crazy rituals, swallowing supplements by the handfuls, and especially how dreaded we all look as show time draws close…lol. There would be a bigger appreciation for the sport if more people were aware of what it entailed. Some believe bodybuilding is all steroids and whatnot, but steroids don’t magically make your muscles appear. There is no magic supplement that makes the fat melt away. And there is definitely no pill that will make it easier for you to get on the cardio machine. Kudos to everyone that has put themselves out there to be critiqued and judged only wearing patches of fabric. I think this sport will catch on soon, just like MMA. The fastest way would be to have a reality show about it.

Nonetheless, I’m so happy for this sport and the people that participate in it. It’s hard work and we all deserve a pat on the back. Good luck to everyone competing at the USA’s this weekend!

I could see this happening. May it like Big Brother on CBS.

That would be pretty awesome, and would definitely help it catch on.

Prudence couldn't be more correct. So many people do not understand what we go through to prepare for a competition. A reality show for something like this would spur alought of intreset for those who compete or those who contemplate their first attempt. Good Job Prudence!! Hope someone at a big network has the stones to put it out there!
