ALMOST THERE
I’m about 2 weeks out and I’m definitely feeling it. It’s been a long road and I find myself asking why people put themselves through so much torture. I’ve only done one show, but I was so proud of myself after. It’s like running a marathon. Everyone who finishes, wins. It’s been challenging, for sure.
At this point, my energy is real low, but I’m going to make it. I’m making use of my diet pills! My cardio is up to 2 hrs 7 days a week. I always stretch and ice my knees. It’s a must! This year I’ve been very motivated mentally, but my body is giving me a run for the money. Have you guys ever felt like you could go to sleep while doing cardio? Lol. I can see a big difference in my body since last year. I’m pretty sure that is what’s going to keep me competing. Seeing all the changes and gains is really motivating. I must say that it definitely helps if you have a good support team. I don’t keep any “bad” foods in the house and I’ve recruited my mom to do my grocery shopping. I honestly can’t handle going past the ritz crisps right now.
To everyone getting ready for Jr. Nats…we’re almost there baby! Can’t wait to meet you all.
