PRUDENCE'S DORM ROOM

I had such an amazing time this past week shooting for FLEX. I will never forget it. I got to hang out with other figure competitors, Goofball Terry Goodlad and his amazingly sweet son, Chris. I’m just so fortunate to have been apart of this.
There was Elaine Goodlad, Ana Tigre, Terri Turner, Julie Ann Kulla, and myself. Gosh, what an amazing group! We shared so many common attributes ...love for carbs and sweets, our once a week cheats, eating canned tuna, supplement timing, daily gym workouts, and many other things that can’t be mentioned here. Lets just say it’s not all glamorous!
I was surrounded by leaders. I don’t know how else I can phrase that. These women had discipline, will power and crazy beauty. They are strong inside and out, and I’m lucky to have shared their company.
I learned a lot. I learned that I’m not alone in what I do. If no one else gets you, know that your peers understand. Thats why, ladies, we should all have a good time at these competitions. It’s only a trophy. Out of all the bodies on that stage, its ridiculous to pick a handful of “winners.”
