CARDIO

So I devised a different way to do HIIT cardio. Instead of using sprinting or swimming or bicycling as the way to get the heart rate up and what not I came up with a small circuit thing that should do the trick. I start out with squat jumps... I'll do ten of those, then move on to bodyweight squats and do 10 of those, and then after those 20 crunches, then I rest 20 seconds or so and do it again. After about 6 rounds of this, I was whipped aka out of shape.

But I think it will be easy to find different ways to progress this method and keep producing fat burning qualities by either adding reps, shortening rest time, adding another exercise into the other three and I'm guessing there are probably even more ways tom make it more difficult. But from now on I'm going to do that for cardio or I will do high intensity laps around the indoor track at the SAC in the same way as I do the circuit I just described. Hopefully over the next 3-4 weeks I'll see a difference! I can tell you now that it beats the crap out of my quads :D and I'm sweating profusely at the moment, 10 minutes after doing the circuit. So, hopefully adding this into my workout routine 3-4 times a week will make a difference!
