MTOOFIT'S BLOG ENTRY
TURN THE PAGE ON A NEW CAREER
Good morning to everyone, and a very Happy October! This is my first in a continuing series of daily blogs....I guess I was always a huge fan of sharing!! After 17 years of managing auto dealerships, and 8 years of investment banking, I guess I was a bit overdue in changing my career to one in personal training! I have been training for around 30 years, having added about 70 pounds to my physique in the process, and have been coaching soccer for the past 4 years. I have always enjoyed helping others, getting my first taste of training while going to the University of Oregon and working in a health club. It was also the beginning of my fitness quest, diving head first into every magazine, every supplement, and every calorie I could consume!
It's as if my life has come full-circle, ending up back at a simpler and more down to earth existence. I have also finally decided to quit fighting the fact that I don't need to make a pile of money, work 70-80 hours a week, and wonder where my "time" has gone! WHEW!! It's also time to settle down and find a great woman to share things with...all work and no play, we all know what happened to Jack in The Shining!! Haha! Coaching kids in soccer(I played in college and some semi-pro) has also reinforced how gratifying it is to help others achieve their physical goals, and understand that it's a lifestyle that makes fitness a reality!
I am always exploring new techniques, new routines, new supplements, and any new information that makes "sense"....I would appreciate anything that anyone has on their minds! If nothing else, please stop by and let's get acquainted!!
Have an awesome day!

A big part of my belief in fitness success is being able to share my journey with others, sharing our experiences is really priceless hehehe.
I am going through the same thing myself between starting my sports nutrition career/weight loss coaching and just recently quitting my part time job due to employer issues/harrassment.
When one door closes a thousand open. Keep up the great work buddy.
