BURNING OUT

I don't always write about my morning workouts, but I had to share this one. After a proper and thorough warm-up, I began my working sets with the leg press. I started heavy and squeezed ten solid reps; dropped two plates, ten more reps; dropped two, ten more. I did this for three full sets, and my legs were already filling up. Next, front squat on the combination press machine. Again, three full sets of drop sets and pulling plates each time. This continued for the duration of the workout for quads and hams. After dragging to the locker room. My thighs were FULL......very FULL.
It's a great feeling when coming off of a punishing leg day, knowing that you've taken another big step toward your goals.
As long as we keep pluggin' away, we'll get there.

Just wanted to let ya know that after I read this a couple weeks ago, i started doing drop sets with the legs....and holy batman....you are right. My legs got so pumped and even though it was painful...it was so worth it. It is great on leg extensions too. niiiiiice.
