LASHAY126'S BLOG ENTRY
FEELING GOOD ABOUT TRAINING BUT NOT MY EATING HABITS
Hey everyone, I know I havent posted a blog in a couple of weeks. It has been crazy over here. My training has never been better. I am running the 400 meters right now, and the crazy thing is that I'm running faster now then I did last year this time. I actually trained for that race last year. I wont be running te hurdles this outdoor season :( I have been having some problems with my knee. I doubled up on my joint aid and glucosamine, it feels great when I run, it just hurts when I hurdle.
The past couple of weeks have been great as far as my meets are concerned. I ran At George Mason University this past weekend. I won the 400 so I was pleased with that. I ra faster then I did last year at that meet. The only thing I didnt like was there was no rel competition. Now I dontwant you to think I am tooting my own horn but I ran 52, which is ok for me right now, but second place was 54. I go to Puerto Rico next week. I am excited to go against some good competition.
You know its so hard with all the traveling that I do to eat right. I try to travel with my Steele Bars. My roomate fixed us fruit salads and grilled chicken salads. Now I do not want you too think I eat like a rabit because I dont but we have been eating really bad. So if anyone has any recipes that are low in fat high in fiber, or that just taste really good. I would really appreciate it. Thanks for listening as always. Check ya Later.

Hey Lashay, congratulations on winning the 400, that's awesome! I'm right there with you on the diet thing, that's the hardest thing for me to keep under control. I can usually motivate myself to work out hard, but keeping the diet under control is a real struggle. Good luck to you in Puerto Rico!
