NEW JOB
Hello All,
Well, I have switched gears from being a scientist to now being a Teaching Assistant for math and science. The schedule is quite demanding and I am not used to being "on" all the time at work. Seems like I always need to be 10 steps ahead of the kids and they are constantly looking to me for "what's next?"
Needless to say, I have had some trouble fitting in all my meals during the day. Just can't seem to grab 10 mins to pop some food in. I am hoping the first few weeks are just like that and soon a routine will fall into place. I am very exhausted though...I am on my feet much more often and I feel more drained after the day is over.
Training is pushed later at night too now and sometimes, I can feel my body wanting to shut down. I will get it back on track, but definitely struggling a little with the new transition. I am excited for this new direction in careers and the Middle School was excited to bring on a former scientist to the classroom...have to represent!!!
