JUST A SPOONFUL OF WALNUTS HELPS THE SALAD GO DOWN
Mary Poppins fans, anyone??? I have to say, when I am dieting for a show...I hate eating salad...it's so bland just eating the greens with maybe a little fat free balsamic or vinegar/lemon juice. I will almost just pass on it altogether. I have used cilantro/green onions/white onions mix to spice it up, but after the 2nd day, I am already tired of it. When I am not as strict as pre-contest...I love adding a few grapes and a spoonful of walnuts...makes all the difference in the world. I actually look forward to the salad! And it doesn't have to be smothered in the nuts, just a piece here and there :).
