TIMES ARE TOUGH BUT EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON

Hey Everybody, anyone have any unused supplements that they would like to donate? lol, Well as all of you know I lost my job about 2 weeks ago, and lets just say its rought out there! I couldn't think of a worse time to be look'n for a job, the economy in horrible! Not only that, my previous employer is try'n to fight me getting my unemployment! Why? Sure I could of been a better employee, but thats just me always want'n to be the best there is at everything and anything that I do. I never missed work, called in, was rude to customers, etc....I increased the stores sales 100% from the previous year. Anyway, it's not easy when no money is comming in when you have child support, car payments, insurance, credit cards, gym fees, etc..Thank goodness for mom n dad, gotta love them. I'm still do'n all I can to get in the best shape of my life, and try'n to keep my spirits high. My only motivation right now seems to be my daughter and the gym and this site. My diet had to change a bit cause I can't be grocery shop'n like I was a few weeks back, but I still had a few supplements left that I've been use'n..(even though they are about to run out too)..Here's what my daily routine has been look'n like..

7:00 cup of coffee, 1 scoop of whey, 5 grams bcaa's, 1tsp glutamine, 2 fish oil caps..
8-9:00 train..
9:00 Universal Nutritions torrent..(had it lay'n around, never used it) tastes like crap..
10:30 1 multi, 2 packs instant grits, 7 egg whites, 2 fish oil caps
1:00 walk 30-45 mins, my calf is still hurt'n..so try'n to get it back up to par.
2:00 2 scoops of isopure protein powder, 2 fish oil caps..(tastes like crap too...)
5:00 Chicken or tuna, green apple, huge salad with 1/4 cups of mixed nutz
8:00 2 scoops of body fortress protein powder from walmart (once again tastes like crap...but it was only 13.00) 1 tbs of peanut butter..

As you can see, I'm do'n the best I can with the limitations that are surrounding me! I guess everything happens for a reason, thats hard to grasp sometimes but it's the truth. Take care everyone!

well well well>........... I can TOTALLY understand where your comming from!!! I was with my job for 5 years, same as you never called off, never late etc. The company was sold, and layoffs were happeing. Sadley I was not in the position to have unemployment be my only income, so I took what ever I could get.... ANd as luck would have it, 3 months later they tell me they have been failing for a long time and were trying to turn it around, so I have 30 days to find AGAIN a job. Now, I have no kids but my dog is my child and he is 140lbs. I was just starting to look for buying a home and that is put on the back burner. I was suprised to see how I could make my food last longer and more cost friendly, I had to go to frozen vegies, when the frozen chix in the bag was buy one get one, I sucked it up and that what I did. Protein pancakes can go along way. ON Classic Whey is a good cost effective protein. My ONLY saving grace the last few months has been my mom who will buy me the food I eat, and sometimes my icecream :-), I am a signed athlete with ABB so I do get product from them, but not everything you need/want can come from there.
OK, this is getting lenghty, hang tough your not alone, it totally sucks, IM in the same boat, again in 3 months, THAT REALLY SUCKS. so instead of enjoying my eves and weekends on the water, IM searing the help wanted adds. Im about ready to shave off all my hair and sell it to some gilr ho wants extensions! HA HA!!
HOnestly, its all about faith and making it happen yourself. HAng tough,
T-

you ever think about going reserve or guard in the air force? they have good benefits and pay... and offer 100% tuition assistance as well as the GI bill..btw I have some muscle milk that I've stopped taking since I ordered casein protein if you'd like. =D maybe that'll cheer you up?
