OKINAWA JAPAN
Hey everyone, I am still alive!
I bet you have been wondering where I've been, it's been a while since I have been on here.
We had a crazy time trying to get to Japan, the military flight we were supposed to take left a day early and no one told us, so we got to the airport finding out there was no plane for us.
Luckily there was a flight out on a commercial airline, a couple hours later we were boarding a flight...a couple more hours later we were still sitting on that plane....
Apparently something was wrong with a computer part so we unloaded and had to stay the night at a hotel. FINALLY the NEXT day we got on another plane and it actually took off, yay!
It took me about two weeks to get used to a time change that was completely opposite of what I was used to. And for two weeks we stayed in a hotel on base until we found our own place. The internet was aweful at the hotel so I wasn't online much. We have been here five weeks now and just got all of our household items and internet last week. So now I am feeling a little more at home having all my things here, and a little more connected to the world now that I have internet!
We are having a great time in Japan! I am now scuba certified! It was a week long class and I admit that I was a little freaked out on our first ocean dive but it was a lot of fun and I saw lots of awesome sea-life! There is a ton of amazing food here!!!! I love it :)
