MY BATTLE WITH FATIGUE
Hi Guys,
I just got back this weekend with some quality R&R time with the kids and hubby in the snow. I LOVE BEING A MOM! Towards the end of 07' I was battling with real bad fatigue and aches. I know a lot of it was due to rigorous training, dieting, and lack of sleep. When I started my offseason, the fatigue didn't wear off, it got worse. I came across a posting from on of our guys here and a light bulb went on. I needed to slow down and rest. So far the last 6 weeks I've been only training 3 days a week. I've noticed I'm a lot stronger and don't require long naps to make it through the day. I've started to clean house, that is my fridge =0 for this season. I know I have to be more cautious and listen to my body to avoid burnout. I've learned more is not neccesarily better. My poor hubby has to go in for shoulder surgery next week. Pls. keep him in prayer for a speedy recovery...YES this happened in the gym. =( Happy Training Ya'll!!!
