TIME TO GET BACK ON TRACK

So i've put my recent test failure in the back of my mind, moved forward and decided to kick it's ass next time, i also reintroduced running into my workout (for now at least 3 times a week, and at least a mile) i did an hour+ of chest this morning then got home and ran a mile, i'm going to do a mile a day 3 days a week to start and then try and increase to 2 miles a day and so on, any advice/input is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you'll be fine. Ran in high school and a little in college (couldn't handle school and track), but a few things to help advance your mileage, and burn more fat. Two-a-days. You can usually run a mile in the morning, and then by the end of the day, you'll have enough juice for another (depending on your schedule.
Like everyone preaches on this site, HIIT. Also try half miles or other varying distances. If right now you're at a mile, you could probably do 3 halves.
Good luck man. You'll destroy your next test I'm sure
