FINALLY FINDING TIME
Or maybe I should say making time. Nobody actually has extra time. Well right now I sort-of do. I have the flu. So I'm taking today off from doing much of anything besides sneezing, coughing...wheezing..aching and watching sappy girl movies. I finally saw, Holiday, yes from last year!! I'm a little behind it was def a sappy girl flick. Let's see.. about me.. I guess I fantasize in my head that I'm an athlete, was, still am, always will be, etc... If nothing else.. I enjoy acting like an athlete. I absolutely love working out of almost any kind. I'm not a big fan of distance running, but have been known to get bored enough to set out on a run for no other reason. Of course hopefully its a run to a gym..or someplace else that is interesting. What is my favorite workout activity, probably the obstacle course, I love it. The climbling especially!! I suppose, I'm trying to pretend I'm still 10 and suppose to be climbing on monkey bars..etc. After that tumbling/gymnastics would be my next choice..I don't get to do nearly enough of this. I'd love to do that wind tunnel thing that skydivers train on..I did it once..but haven't been able to do it again it was awesome!!! I could fly! I want to try rock climbing, but havent' been able to fit that into myschedule yet. I used to roller blade a lot but haven't had time for that lately either. I miss it too!! I lift.. decently hard 3 days a week with a trainer, who is great. I train obstacle course twice a week.. I try to do cardio 4-5 times a week.sometimes more... I wish I could fit yoga in.. I want to try the hot yoga..its been recommended to me mutliple times by multiple ppl. I use to do pilates and gyrotonics..and I miss those terribly..I'd love to take another dance class to brush up no that..I want I want I want.. lol never enough hours in the day!!! This is why I don't have a tv..I mean I have one.its just not hooked up to anything..I mean I don't even get the news on it. I do occaisionally like tonight..pop a movie in and watch that on it. lol Ok enough of rambling on about what I want to do.. I could go on forever! Lets see what else is there to tell ...I've tried my hand at NPC Figure..and apparently I just don't have a small enough waist to get about a 3rd place finish. I've tried WTF fitness..and I do ok there.. most of the time. Except once again in physique..I just don't have the 'look'. But whatever most of my training I do because I enjoy it and its fun so that's not a problem. the dieting I hate. I do it though..about 9-10 months out of the year I'm trying to eat as clean as possible...I'll go for 6 week stretches at a time eating nothing except fish, broccoli and sweet potatos 6 times a day. (I really do hate that part) Then Mid-Nov- Mid-Jan I eat whatever I want.. and gain a bunch of weight/fat..and end up having to diet it off the next year..but I know its coming and I enjoy the food. Plus by then my body really needs a break from such a strict regimen! Well I think I've rambled on enough..I'm going to look around on this site some..as I really haven't had a chance to do much of that yet. toodles for now!! Happy Turkey Day everyone!!
