STICKING UP FOR MY COOLER

I was getting home from a trip yesterday and while in the flight attendant crew room one of my supervisors approached me as she spotted me with my humungo food cooler. I was a bit nervous at first as obviously my cooler is not standard and we actually have an approved cooler to carry with us if we want to bring one. Problem is...it's waaaay too small for my liking and all the food I need to bring with me on say a 3, 4 or 5 day trip. I was certain she was going to try and tell me I could no longer use it and would need to switch to our "approved luggage" cooler.

Surprisingly, she was just in amazement and inquired about what kind of food I brought along with me. I showed her my cooked egg whites along with the gound turkey and chicken I lug around. Orange roughy, broccoli...The conversation then turned into how she was trying to eat healthier and was considering getting herself a personal trainer. I gave her some sample packets of ON's Gold Standard Whey I had with me. MORAL OF STORY...I was so relieved I didn't have to fight to save my cooler. :)

Funny, I am always wondering if I am going to get my food taken away also. Any shows I do outside of Alaska I fly to. I'm glad it worked out.

That is funny, I was told that my cooler was to big for the fridge at my last job! My boss thought I was crazy so I just started packing lots of ice packs in it and eating in my car. Thats great that your supervisor was so understanding, most people arent.

Funny stuff. Way to be prepared.

Putting up with the ignorance of others does get old after a while (in response to Beth). Just remember, preperation and execution are the reasons you look the way you do while others struggle.

Go get 'em at your show! I wish I could be there to see your pro debut!

When you're in town at the Rockford show, we'll hit up some restaurants :)
