FAITHNEM'S DORM ROOM

I am so blessed and excited to be saying I am the USA indoor 60 meter champion. I have made the World Indoor Team and will be leaving Monday for Valencia, Spain. This is so exciting and I can't wait to get there. My family was all there and my coach was screaming and grinning from ear to ear. It was a great day. Getting there was a journey and a huge test of my faith and determination to get there and stay focused. Due to the weather conditions, my flights got cancelled twice on Friday and I was told I wouldn't be able to get on anything Saturday, since nothing was available. I begged and pleaded with them to help me find something and they luckily found one seat left for Saturday, I was blessed that instead of three rounds in the race, they cut the one to be ran on Saturday and we just had the two races on Sunday, otherwise I would not have made it to Boston in time. Man you talking about stressed out to the max. I was trying to stay focused and not worry too much. My coach and I got split, since you had to jump on whatever came available.

I am just glad I got there safely and came out victorious.
