SEASON UPDATE
Hello everyone!!! Things are going pretty good. I just came back from North Carolina A&T competing in a great meet. I ran the 4x100m relay, leadoff leg and I ran well. I was just working on some things in the race before I open up in the 100m in May overseas. I have to compete at the Penn Relays next weekend which is a very fun meet. It is always so packed and full of positive energy, just makes me want to run fast. It will be televised, not sure what time or anything like that yet. I'll keep ya posted.
This past week I was in the pool a lot though. I felt a lil tightness in my quad so I needed to train without the stress of the track. You can still get some great work in the pool. Coach has me strap on a aqua belt so I can not touch the ground and we have running drills and running workouts. Sometimes he even makes me swim laps for my wind. Boy can he get creative in the pool. Makes you want to get back on the track quick.
