FAITHNEM'S DORM ROOM

Yeah!!! I am happy with my results on Saturday. I competed in the 55m dash indoors and won my race. I ran two rounds in the 55m. In the first round, I stumbled out of the blocks a bit, but kept my focus and ran the lead girl down and ran a quick time of 6.89. I wasn't satisfied, cause I am a perfectionist and hate to make mistakes. To be great you have to constantly strive to be better and better anyway. So my coach showed me film of my race in the first round and I focused up and came back for the final an hour later and did a lot better. I won the race with 6.80. I still have room for improvement, but overall it was a great day, especially being that it was my first race of the year.

Now I am back to the drawing board tomorrow at practice, working on stuff and sharpening up for my upcoming competitions in Europe. I leave for those on Tuesday. I want to line up with the guys tomorrow at practice, so I can push with them. The closer I stay to them, the further in front of the girls I will be in the race.
