I am very friendly, kind, energetic and bright. I get along with pretty much everyone!

I have a problem with rude and inconsiderate people!!

I love school!! My favorite subject is math! I Graduated college with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and I currrently work as a Senior Electrical/Acoustical Engineer in the telecommunications industry for a top cell phone manufacturer.
In my spare time, when I am not busting my butt at work, I take care of my husband (who is my best best friend), two kids, read, train for Figure Competitions and present demos for Optimum Nutrition/ABB (my sponsors). What does this mean? Well...Anyone who knows me well, knows I move a million miles a minute and survive on 4-5 hours sleep!! A lifestyle, that as crazy as it may seem, I have grown to love.

A LITTLE SHIFTING OF CONTEST PLANS

My upcoming contest plans are changing. I had originally planned to do the NPC Cal in 3.5 weeks followed by the NPC Junior Nationals. After considering financial responsibilities as well as where my physique is, I have decided, with great difficulty to switch around my schedule. There are tons of National shows and I have made the mistake in the past to rush to get on stage.

IS LACK OF SLEEP THE REASON

Getting sleep is a constant battle for me and I am sure also for many of you. My personal issue is that once I am done training in the evening, preparing meals for the next day and cleaning up, its 11 PM. By then, I have a second wind and find myself up until 1 AM, only to have to wake up 5 short hours later!
With the recent time change, this bad habit has kicked me in the butt.
I realize that if I am going to reach my conditioning goals this year, I BETTER get some sleep! According to numerous studies, lack of sleep WILL lead to weight gain.

2010 PLANS AND UPDATE

The Arnold is well underway and its going to be a great year for the Fitness Industry.
There has been a lot going on in my life lately (well always).
My sister had been very ill and I spent most of the week in the hospital with her. This coupled with deadlines at work made things very difficult.

NATIONALS RECAP

Wow!!! That word describes it all! What an incredible weekend. The weather was beautiful and so were the people. I have never seen so many Good Looking, in shape people in one place at one time.
The male bodybuilders were incredible, HUGE!. The level of competition was one of the highest I have seen in years. There were over 70 Female Bodybuilders – Striated Glutes /shredded bodies – all in shape.
Bikini Girls just beautiful!!! The overall winner looked even better in person.

NPC NATIONALS 1 WEEK AWAY

Its been a while! A lot has been going on in my life. As I posted in my last blog, my mother in law had open heart surgery. In addition my husband had to travel to the Middle East for work, so you can just imagine the load I had on me.
