WEEK 14

Week 14 is here and lets get ready to battle!!! The battle between physical and mental battle begins. I went into the gym with some battles of my own. I wanted to push some new weight for every exercise and I did. I was excited on this achievement but I knew that this was a small goal(s) to the main goals that I must accomplish. I like to train chest and back together and it does make a huge differences so lets start off with chest and then I'll talk about the back routine. I started with one set of pullover for 25 reps. Thats a good stretch for the chest. I hit the pec deck for 3 sets of 50 reps. Thats right, I said 50 reps! I wanted to push that blood flow into the muscle & squeezing it so can fill it my chest. I did a Superset with Incline Dumbbell Flyes to Incline Dumbbell Press. 3 sets of 12 for the flyes & 10 reps for the press with 2 forced reps for each workout. Next is Flat Dumbbell Flyes to Flat Dumbbell Press. Same here for reps but I did a drop set on the second and third set. Wow!!! That opens up your chest and you can feel the “juices” flowing. You must remember to flex and squeeze your muscles for at least 10 seconds. I finished off with doing cable crossovers. I did 3 sets of 12 but then I did a second sets of 21. I did 21 reps of cable crossovers. It's a great finisher because it hits all angle of the chest. The 1st 7 reps is regular cable crossovers. The 2nd 7 reps is a bent over version and the 3rd 7 reps is pretending to huge a tree. I know that sounds weird but it's an awesome stretch and pump into the chest. And now onto Back.

I started with Wide Grip Pull-downs to Reverse Grip Pull-downs. 3 sets of 12 for each exercise with drop sets for the second & third set. Next was Bent-Over Rows. 3 sets of 12 and 2 forced reps. I did Lat Pull-downs to Seated Rows. 3 sets of 12 for each exercise with drop sets for the second & third set. My finisher is pullovers. 3 sets of 25. A great stretch for the lats. Make sure you hold it for a 2 count to get that good stretch. My back is sore all over plus, your hitting every angle to get thickness and width.

Thats my time folks, I hope this can challenge you for your workouts. Get inspired and do something productive in life. Week 15 is gonna be sooner than you think. Super Bowl is here as well....Since my team is not in it, I'm going with the Patriots. Go Pats. Have a good day everyone, Ian.
