BEEFCAKE GIRL'S BLOG ENTRY

YEA JESS

Well I made it on stage and first I HAVE to say congrats to Jess for qualifying for the O!!! You looked beautiful and I was so excited to see your hard work rewarded :) Thanks for being there for me too...you and your family! Everyone was so sweet and that makes for such a nice weekend!

As far as MY performance, it is a stepping stone. I have never done a show at less than 100% and my trainer thought it would be easier on me than it was...but I am a perfectionist and I DO NOT like to do anything halfway. It was hard to hear comments fomr people who are used to seeing me tiny n tight! I was not comfortable in that position...but luckily I will be much improved at the Europa and 100% on in NY and Atlantic City. I do not plan on being in this situation again!

I still got some great feedback on my overall look and potential and as long as I show improvement, I hope to at least get a look. But this was a tough lineup and I am still humbled to be a part of it all. It is pretty exciting to be a pro...even if you're dead last, you're still a pro and among the best :)

Well onwards and upwards! I got ANOTHER new diet and cardio plan and I am shocked! It is awesome! Lots of activity of course but lots of food...my body weight is actually a bit low so this plan is to work the body composition and tighten and harden things up. Soooo excited to eat protein pancakes, I cannot tell you. After this weekend, when I did not even take a cheat meal, I am ready for some yummier food!

Thanks again for everyone's support. I hope I inspired some people this weekend by showing that you CAN work through adversity and you CAN find happiness and satisfaction in things, even if the true result is less than you had hoped. It is really about the journey isn't it?

becky :)

Hey Becky - I am late posting here, but I share your feelings about never wanting to go up on stage at less than 100%! You looked beautiful and it is just the beginning to your long journey as a PRO!!
