78Me and my wife are still waiting for our son to be born. I am sitting here typing this and she is starting to have contractions. We have been waiting all year for this to happen. Looks like she may not make it through the night. Thats what we are hoping.
I have discussed my plans to do the nationals with Goerge and we have decided that I will forgo the Nationals. I am going to take the rest of the year off. I will be looking to do the North Americas next year as well as the Nationals. This is a tough decision for me, but after discussing my options with George, will ultimately be the right decision.
This is my first child and I will have to see what it is all about and try to become a champion father first. I will spend the next year improving my physque as well and vow to come back next year bigger and badder. I plan on moving into the middle weight class next year. I weighed in at 163 this year. Which is only two pounds from the middle weight class. I would like to add 6 to 8 pounds this off season and weigh-in some where aroun 170-171 next year with better conditioning. So for now I will continue to lift hard and eat hearty. hhmmmfff I mean healthy.

Congrats V!! That's awesome! Take the time, who knows, the time off from dieting down may lead you to add a LOT of wanted mass and give you the time to plan the perfect plan to diet down.
Congrats again, hope all goes well.
