81I haven't been around as much lately and I apologize. While trying to get in shape for the guest pose in Radford, I've also been extremely busy with work.

Right now I'm on a 1 high, 2 medium, 4 low day diet split with 1.5 hours of cardio on the low days, 1 hour on the medium days. I'm very fatigued, but not starving like in the past. I've finally got the hunger issue under control, but being at a calorie deficit for weeks on end will make you tired no matter who you are. I feel pretty good with no injuries or setbacks, and I'm extremely happy with how I look at this point.

We are launching a newer product for our company so it makes for long days. Couple that with the workouts, food prep, and work email/projects each night make checking the web outside of email very scarce.

Jess, on the other hand has hung up the competition suits. After this guest pose we will be working on starting our family. I'm envious of Vic Delcampo, and can't wait to be a father.

Jess has been training, but is now taking yoga 3 days a week. We both want to lead healthy lifestyles after our competition days. She is starting to work on eating clean healthy foods, 5 days of cardiovascular exercise, and detoxifying her body. Jess just completed a 3 week organic, all natural detox, and feels great. She has a new appreciation for eating more veggies in her diet and enjoying the different flavors of seasonal fruits and veggies. She also tried ON's Natural Whey Vanilla because EVERYTHING she consumed had to be natural. She hasn't had a soda, or artificial sweeteners in a month, and just started adding caffeine to her day with coffee. She's been eating only white fish baked with a little pepper and organic butter/olive oil mixture for flavor.

I will be doing something similar when I get done. I will still use Whey protein but I plan to completely come off ALL supplements through the month of December. I've not been off supplements in over 4 years and want to let my body heal, detoxify, and eventually provide a better digestion environment for better nutrient partitioning.

I will try to update this weekly like in the past, but bare with me for a little while. I love RA and the RA family and haven't forgotten everyone. Take Care.

Joe
