87Hey guys!

Well I'm back from PN, safe and sound. As you might suspect, it's been a crazy weekend lol. This was the first show I've ever done where I had to travel to it. That alone was an experience. Anyways, here's the low down on the show -

I ended up just barely missing the middleweight's and competed in the light heavy (weighed in 3/4 of a pound over). I never would have thought I'd ever be a middleweight but as my weight came down, that's where I sat. It all worked out as the light heavy's turned out to be a smaller class but the depth of the competition was unreal. Everybody looked absolutely amazing and could have held their own at Jrs. or even maybe the USA's. But, I still had an awesome time and it was a great experience. I also did not come home empty ended, taking home the 4th place trophy for the light heavy Collegiates. For being my first national level show and only my 3rd show ever, I'm pleased. This has been only my second year competing and when I look back on where I started, there's been light years of improvement. You can't gauge your progress on anyone but yourself.

Now it's time to go back to the drawing board and get back to the mass game. I'll probably either be doing this show again a year from now or shoot for another national level show in 2010. This will give me plenty of time to build and come in with a MUCH more improved package. I'll be 23 by then and that should be a good time to shoot for the larger level shows. I will definitely be back for Collegiates as it truly was a really fun show to be a part of and was really well run. Gary Udit puts on a great show and really takes care of his athletes. I would encourage every bodybuilder to do one of Gary's show. The age limit for collegiate is 25 so I have 4 years to aim for that title. I'm going to see Chuck this week and we're going to outline a game plan.

I want to shout out to a few people. First off, my family and unbelievably supportive girlfriend. No matter the request or how moody I was, they were there for me. People sometimes forget how much support one need's during a prep.

I also need to thank Chuck Sanow. He has been a wonderful guide, inspiration and mentor. I will surely source Chuck for help with my future endeavours as his experience and knowledge is so vast. In addition to his knowledge, he would have honestly done anything he could to have helped me during my prep. He is a truly nice guy. Not only a great trainer, a great friend.

Lastly but more certainly not least, ON/ABB for their continued support they give me. Not only am I a proud believer in their supplements but I'm also proud to be a part of their family. Great people, great products and a great backing is exactly what an athlete could ask for.

And of course, all you on RA!!!!!!!!

So, now I finally get to relax this week and get back to normal life. I've kept this on the DL but on August 1st, I'm accomplishing another goal of mine and opening up my private personal training studio. I've very excited about this so definitely keep a lookout on here as I'll be putting up pictures of my place and extending sessions to RA members.

I also put up some pics. from the show in my picture section so check them out. I'll put more up here and there and also on my website over the next few days.

Thanks again guys!!!!!!!
