ONABB Photo Shoot This Past Friday

by: Joe Lyons - April 27th, 2008
81I'm back from the shoot and I've got to say it was an extremely long 3 days. Not because of ON/ABB...because of circumstances that were uncontrollable.

Friday was the photo shoot. If you've never done one of these, it's an experience! I woke up and hit the treadmill like I mentioned and did 60 min of cardio. I had planned to make up the rest of the time this weekend...forget that! This was an 8 hour photo shoot that worked my butt off! I was dead tired by noon, and the other athletes there were fading around 1-2pm.

The set up was in a Bally's gym. One side was for photos with weights, and the other side was set up for video recording for the website. When we got started you were either working on one side or the other and there were very little breaks. About enough time to shovel down my turkey and asparagus and then it was back to work. It was a great experience and a lot of fun, but I had no idea, nor was I prepared to work as hard as we did. It's not killer workouts or anything it's just the longest working set in the history of man kind. LOL

We finished up at 4:30ish and went for a tour of the ON/ABB facility and got to see everything from the warehouse, lab, to the office building where all the marketing takes place. When you walk in...you smell vanilla protein. LOL

They gave us a limo for the way back to the airport. The 4 of us and we all stretched out in the limo and tried to relax a little. All we could talk about was how tired we were. We made it to the airport with plenty of time so the stress was minimal.

Today I still feel hung over, but I'm very thankful for the opportunity ON/ABB and Bob Corbett gave me. They treated us like kings and when I was with them, I couldn't have been treated better. It's a great company, with great people, and I'm proud to be associated with them.

It was great to finally meet Jackie, Jason, and Kayla. They were a lot of fun to work with and I wish them nothing but the best in the future! Take care guys!

Wow...I had no idea that getting your picture taken could be taxing and stressful - hopefully this doesn't sound sarcastic. When and where can we expect to see these pictures?
