Well recovery has been extra good as i chose not to take anytime off after nationals this year and immediately hit the gym as my joints and everything actually felt good post contest (maybe another benefit of HMB). My strength is doing really good right now even though im not really trying to go all out on the poundages right now and have been doing slightly more volume training. My recovery which i always gauge by leg workouts has been exceptional, I trained legs on friday and was a lil sore saturday afternoon but was ok by sunday wich is usually the day i am all out sore. I still have a few weeks of HMB left but i have some more in the supplement bin at home that i plan on taking after my trial bottle are gone, Im really liking the extra recovery and strength ive gotten since taking HMB. Recovery is what sets people back the most in their training but most don't even realize it, so anything that can help optimize recovery im all for, and the added strength is just icing on the cake. I have kept my diet pretty much in check and didn't go on an all out eating frenzy after nationals so that has helped maximize my benefits from HMB. I will continue to keep this log going for a while as i myself want to use it as a reference and go back and see how i felt on this supplement, so if i should take a break from it I want to note the difference in feeling especially a day or so after a brutal leg workout.
