Back to eating clean
by: DannyStevens - August 5th, 2008I've finally got back onto my normal eating schedule and I have to say, it feels good. Loading your body with junk for a week seems great at first, but it gets old. However, I did do damage and hit up many of my favorite restaurants that I was craving. If you're from Chicago, there's nothing like killing a large pizza from Gino's East :)
Here's a breakdown of one of my "typical" days. I say typical as I don't eat the same things daily but I usually stay around the same macros. Like I've mentioned before, I'm really not a believer in strict calorie counting but I do it here and there to get an idea where I'm at. I honestly could probably get away with eating more with my metabolism as sad as that is. I'm still going out to eat here and there so I'm getting a few cheats in too. As long as my BF% stays in that 12-15% range, I'm satisfied. I'm not really too concerned right now with eating crazy clean as my priority is to kill it in the gym and put on size. I know where I want to be and I know what needs to be done, bottom line.

Lift Bars are great. If you're craving something sweet and don't really want to kill your diet, then they're perfect!
Thanks for the kind words Joe and Greg!

I will have to give them a try...bb.com gives a sample pack away with a purchase of 211.
One more question if you don't mind. Normally how many weeks out do you really get in gear with the diet before a contest. I am debating on a first time for a local contest here. I will see how things go in the next few months.

My diet usually starts at 12 weeks out. Some like 14, others can pull of 10. It really depends on the person and their body. Keep at it and if you need any help, you can message me anytime or feel free to post up on here.
